Probiotics for Pets
BioGaia’s Reuteri® Drops [with 400 iu of Vitamin D3]

BioGaia Quality

Unfortunately, many probiotic products on today’s market do not contain the strain of bacteria stated on the label, nor in the promised quantities. A 2003 European study by Robin Temmerman found that almost half of the products he investigated did not contain a single living bacterial cell, and among the dairy products tested, a staggering 90% failed to contain all of the claimed species. In contrast with the majority of products tested, those containing BioGaia’s L. reuteri culture were correctly labeled. They contained the bacteria stated on the package and in the quantities claimed. (Temmerman R et al. Int J Food Microbiol 2003; 81:1-10)
