Parent Essential Fatty Acids
Fish Oil (Marine Oil) EPA and DHA Ingredients
Unhealthy for Your Pet

Please be wary of pet supplements that contain EPA and/or DHA derivatives (fish oil or marine oils), since these oils generally contain no Omega-3 parent oils. In fact, marine oils, including fish oil, generally contain no Omega-6 parent oils which are especially needed by pets to counterbalance the adulterated Omega-6 oils in the processed foods they eat.
Fish oil and marine oils (Krill, etc.) represent a biological overload of Omega-3 derivatives that your pet cannot possibly use. Biological pathways clearly show that EFAs are used mostly in parent form with conversion to derivatives by the pet’s body [only as needed]. Unprocessed, fully-functional oils are of paramount importance for your pet’s health. Marine oil supplements [EPA and DHA derivatives of Omega-3] are insufficient due to their lack of the Parent Omegas.
Omega-6 EFAs have received a lot of negative press with good reason. But the distinction between damaged, trans-fat, (processed) Omega-6 fatty acids and unprocessed, unadulterated Parent Omega-6 is not considered. In reality, your pet’s body prefers healthy cold-pressed organic seed oils which are excellent sources of “parent” Omega-6 (powerful anti-inflammatory properties), along with organic flax oil for “parent” Omega-3, to obtain the ideal science-based “parent” Omega 6/3 combination. It is this ideal 6/3 blend that enhances cellular respiration (oxygenation)−vital in the prevention of heart disease and cancer in your pet!*
Common overloads of EPA and DHA derivatives rob pets of their antioxidant protection and age the liver. EPA and DHA derivatives displace all Parent Omegas in the cells and damage cellular membranes. Equally important: Fish and marine oils [mainly Omega-3 derivatives] decrease a wide range of immune cell responses in the body. This decrease in immune cell response is characterized by increased cellular bacteria [infection] and
impaired tumor cell killing.*
