Parent Essential Fatty Acids
Pet Food, A 100% Processed Diet

Picture
Pets have, for all practical purposes, a 100% processed diet. Just like us, our pets don’t get enough vital, pure, Parent Omega-6 EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids) in their diet. Any Omega-6 EFAs in the food have likely been damaged by the food-production process, even in pet foods that primarily concentrate on their Omega-3 content (commonly derivatives and not parent oils). EFAs are absorbed only through food intake, so the health of our pets is dependent on the types of food that we give them. And, processed pet foods are deficient in Parent EFAs.*
